My little man's going hunting

So we got Shane a crickett for christmas which is a little rifle. He loved it and so he and his daddy are going on Shane's first hunt and he was so excited. I am kinda sad because this means my baby boy is not so much a baby anymore. That's okay this is a day that Shannon has been dreaming about for a long time. He can't wait to buy Brylee a pink one I talked him out of for christmas, but I don't think that is going to last long Brylee seen the pink one at wal-mart and she wants one. Well hopefully Shane will have a wonderful time making memories with his daddy that will last a lifetime.

Brylee's 1st haircut

Brylee got her 1st haircut wed. she did very well. She just sat there and watched connie at twisted scissors cut it and after she was done she said how pretty. I just had about an inch cut off so you can't even tell it has been cut. Her hair was tangling on the ends pretty bad so hopefully this will help.

Christmas tree

I told him that this is how his teeth are going to look if he doesn't brush them good.

Brylee found these teeth and just had to have her picture taken and of course so did Shane.

They got a bath and wanted another picture.

We put up the christmas tree this week. I let the kids decorate it. They had a great time all the ornaments in the same spot mostly, because Shane liked it that way, so I left it that way, they love it, Shane and Brylee get up in the morning a turn the tree on and turn it off before they go to bed. They want to know where the presents are. I can't do that until christmas eve because they would have them all opened.

rattlings

Well thanksgiving is behind us and Christmas is just around the corner. It really is getting fun with the kids, they understand what it is and Shane is so excited to put up the Christmas tree we are going to do that today. I decided not to partake in the black friday thing this year it is very difficult with the kids, Shannon would have kept them, but I think this year the closer it gets to Christmas the cheaper things are going to get. I did go to wal-mart friday night for milk and a few things and they had alot of stuff left and there wasn't a line or anything, everyone must have been pooped for the day. I decided to just pick up some pizza for dinner friday. I also went and got a few movies and we just cuddled up after the kids went to bed and watch a movie. It is nice to have our bed back to ourselves. The kids do eventually end up in bed with us but it is getting better every night. It is very different not having their beds in our room but it is also very nice. Suprisingly Brylee is doing better than Shane with sleeping in her own bed, Shane says he is scared that coyotes are going to get him. It is just something he has came up with because we had a calf born dead and by time we found it coyotes had already found it. He is starting to understand that they would run if the seen a human out around them. Brylee also taught herself her abc's this week, we have a magnet thing on the fridge that you put the letters in and it tells you what it is. If you just press a button it says the abc's and she carried it around until she could say them, she only leaves out the k. She is really good at memorizing, she will listen to a song or something and she will start singing it, she is so different from Shane when it comes to that, he doesn't listen to what is being said. Well I am done rattling on I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I just want to wish everyone a happy thanksgiving. I am so thankful for everything the Lord has given us. I am so thankful for my husband he is such a wonderful person who trust in God first and always. I am so thankful for my children they make me smile always. I am thankful for all my family. We don't really have a busy day but we will enjoy just getting to spend time with everyone. So my pray for all of you is that you have everything you need and want. Thanks for just being ya'll.

So Busy

I have not even turned my computer on this week. I have been cleaning out the house, we have limited space here, and I am not the best at throwing things out or getting rid of things that I haven't used in no telling how long. It seems that when you clean out, you make a bigger mess. I did put the kids in there own room and they are doing pretty good at sleeping in there own beds. Shannon has been having to work a good bit extra this week and I have not been working at the store so much the last few weeks.:) I'm glad to have some time at home to get things cleaned out. It does seem like it is never ending, I have no idea where I have gotten so much stuff. I am making such a showing though, the thing is I didn't even realize how much stuff there was, because it was in closets or here and there. Well Thanksgiving is almost here and we start dinners tomorrow at church. Thanksgiving really isn't very busy because my in-laws don't do dinner and my dad goes to his wifes family in TN. so we only have to go to my mothers. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. God bless you!

our trip

Well we are back and have been back for a while now, but I just haven't had time to blog. First off I am truly disappointed in the election, but now we have to pray for our country even harder. We had a wonderful time on our trip, we enjoyed spending time as a family just the four of us. We don't get much time just us. We did all kinds of things the kids seen the helicopters as soon as we got to town and didn't stop until we got to fly in one and they loved it. We went to cades cove and seen bears, deer, turkey they liked that too. We went horseback riding. It was so funny the horses pooted the whole time and Brylee thought that was so funny she made pooting noises everytime you asked her what the horses did. We took them to the Dixie Stampede or as Shane calls it the Sexy Dampede and we lucked up and got to see the Christmas show which had just started the day before. The kids loved every minute.

Pigeon Forge

We are in Pigeon Forge for the week, we got here yesterday and we are having a good time just enjoying the kids. When we got here we got checked in and then we went to feed the ducks, the kids were amazed because they will just eat right out of your hand. Last night we went to eat pizza and to play put put golf ( or as Shane calls it butt butt golf). We had a great time Shane hit a hole in one on the first two shots. Brylee loved it, she tried really hard to figure it out. I don't know what we will do today but, I am sure it will be fun. We just wanted some family time. We spend time at the camper, but it is not just the 4 of us. We needed some family time. Shannon needed to take some time off also. Mom and Alisa are watching after the store so I know I don't have to worry about that. I will keep you posted!

Good times

I had a busy week this week even though I shouldn't have. I didn't work a whole lot this week, but I spend alot of time cleaning up the house. Thursday I went and met Jen for dinner at applebees, we love some chicken roll-ups. Then we headed to Jaime's for Amelias shower for Landon whom is going to be joining us Monday, I wish her a lot of luck. Jaime and Jennifer are both showing now and look very cute! Then Sat. Shannon and I took the kids to nana and papa and we headed to madison to have dinner with friends to celebrate Jaime's 30th birthday. We had a great time just spending time with everyone, Jaime has several groups of friends, but I enjoy every one of them. We can hang out together and it is not weird. Since the wedding I have grown to love them I really didn't know them before that. I can't wait to meet all these new babies that are coming soon. We also got to meet baby Camden he is just to cute and tiny, he slept most of the time, but he finally open his eyes when he got hungry. Well Shannon and I and of course the kids are going to head off the the mountains for a few days just to get away.

Relentless

We are back, and we had a great time. We heard Creflo Dollar, Joyce Meyer, Lisa Bevere, Darlene Zschech, Yolanda Adams, Phil Wickham( I had never heard of him but he was great!) We heard alot about being Relentless which was what they called the women's conference. Creflo talked alot about faith. It was a wonderful weekend I had a great time with Renata and Lori. We really enjoyed spending time together and I think we learned alot about each other. The arch was neat but the city has alot to see and we didn't have time to do much.

Getting ready!

Well I am getting ready to go to St. Louis for the weekend for a Joyce Meyer women convention, I have been looking forward to it for months and can't wait. My mother-in-law Renata and sister-in-law Lori are going. I am very excited but will miss the kids this is the first time I will be away from them for this long. Shannon took off so that he could keep them. He is so great! I myself have been studing on praise and how important it is to praise God. Make it a habit to praise him all day in everything that you do and see how much better your day goes. I will confess, praise , and give thanks to You, for You have heard and answered me; and You have become my Salvation and Deliverer. (Pslams 118:21 amplified) I am a firm believer that you reap what you sow, so make sure your sowing good seeds and not bad because it goes both ways.

Early Works

So friday we took the kids to early works in Huntsville, they had a blast. Shane got to see Zane, which he hasn't seen in months they are just like me and my girls they pick up right were they left off. It is great to see already what a great friendship they are going to have. Brylee and Ava don't really play together they have not had the same quality time together. Brylee does enjoy seeing Seven, they see each other at bible study each week. The kids had a great time and Shane is already asking to go back and i talked to Debbie today and she said Zane said that it was the most fun he had all weekend!

So Proud

My weekend and week has been good so far, Brylee is taking a nap, and Shane is watching cartoons right now. I have a few minutes so I thought I would blog, I'm still not very good at this I am not the best putting things on paper. Brylee is so funny, she is just about potty trained for the most part ( a few accidents here and there ) but pretty good so far, she has been wearing her big girl panties all day and everywhere we go for two weeks now and no accidents out in public. She is getting so big! I miss my baby, but I love watching them grow and learn. It is so fun to watch Shane teach her things. He is such a good big brother. He has really tested my patience the last few days. He is so stubburn, and I know he gets it from me, and that is not something that I wanted to pass on. He thinks that he is grown up and does not need help and can make his own choices. I'm glad he is indepentant but it is hard because he thinks he knows best. My sister-in-law Lori's birthday is today so I hope she has a great day! I have got to go birthday shopping for Shannon's B-day present this week when I get time. Well I have got to go and study for bible study tomarrow, I always look forward to getting together for this, It is nice to spend time studying the word and sharing it with others. God Bless!

Well it's been awhile!

Well it's been awhile since I've done this. I thought I would be better at this, but I haven't had the time to spend on it. I have been working a good bit, and spending time with the family. Shannon and I had a great anniversary I am so blessed to call him my husband.

I have found out good news from my friend Jaime, she is having a baby and we are so excited for her and Brandon they are going to make great parents. Jennifer is also having twins and we can't wait to find out what she is having. Hopefully one of each! So there is going to plenty of babies this spring.:)

I have been going to a bible study each week with my mother-in-law, mom, debbie (my husbands best friends mother) her daughter Gina, and me. We have been studing Revelation, it is a very interesting book, scary to think of what is going to happen to those who don't accept Jesus. I'm thankful for my relationship with him and feel like I'm growing everyday. We have been having bible study for about 3 months and we are just now in chapter 9. There is so much to digest and we are going deep into it, but it has been good.

Well I hope to do better than I have so far!

Here we go!

I'm not sure how good I will be at this, I love to talk but I am not the best writer. Today was mostly like any other, we get up around 4 am and head to the store, the kids most of the time sleep until we get there. The old folks are usually there eating when we get there and they just love to pick on the kids, mostly Brylee, (they call her lulla belle) most people who come in the store think that is her name. My mom works for me and is a God sent. She helps with the kids and keeps things going at the store. Well anyways I came home to get ready for this weekend. Shannon and I are going out of town for our anniversary, and mom is keeping the kids :). So I've been doing laundry and stuff like that. The kids have been pretty good today, Brylee is sitting in my lap now helping. Well I am a christian and try to live my life for Jesus, I have complete Faith in Him & know that my life is heading in a great direction. I'm not sure just yet what direction that is, but at this point I do feel like it is going to be in the ministry, but not sure just what specifically yet. I truly feel a calling on my life and have a hunger for the word of God. It is not just me my husband is feeling the calling on his life also and I see Shannon and I doing this together for a long time to come, there is no turning back now. We are finding that secret spot of God like in Pslams 91. We want to constantly be in the place of God, and I find myself not even able to think about much else. So pray for us and we will do the same for you. God bless!
