Home Sweet Home!!!

Well the girls are home, they came home Sunday afternoon. They are doing great they are too cute. Jennifer is doing really well. They are having a lot of company, but they like having the extra hands. I'm taking off tomorrow so I can prepare some food that will freeze well, so that when the company slacks off they will have some meals they can fix easy and just have that family time. Ronald loves my spinach dip so I made him some today. I think that he may be as spoiled as the girls. I think that we can get the girls straighted out, but not so sure about Ronald. LOL! He is really being great with the girls, they both are. In this time with Jen I have met some of her other friends and they all have been great, but Amanda is who I've spent the most time with and she is just great, we really hit it off. I am looking forward to forming a friendship with her. She has been awesome to Jen and I really appreciate it! Jen and I have been friends for a long time and will be for the rest of our lives. Some friends you just don't want to live without and she is one of those, I've really enjoyed spending this time with her, we had the opportunity to spend the most part of the day with just me, Jen, Brylee, Addie, & Lexie (all our girls) just getting everything ready to go home, while Ronald made trips to the car. I really enjoyed it. Jen holds a very special place in my heart and so do those little angels.

Update on Jen

Jennifer and the girls are doing great, I just got home from the hospital. Jen was able to get up and about today and the girls are still doing wonderful, so well in fact that the Doc told Jen that they all were doing so well that she could go home on Sat. if she chooses. Jen has decided as of right now to stay at the hospital for the 72 hrs that her insurance will pay for just to have the extra day, so that maybe she won't be quiet as sore. I told her that was the best thing for her to do, since there are two babies and only one daddy it would be easier if she had the extra rest before they went home. They had there picture made at the hospital today and they turned out very cute. Well I will update you tomorrow hopefully.

Welcome to the world Addison & Alexis!!!

Lexie on left and Addie on right!
Addison & Alexis arrived this morning at 9:46 & 9:47 they weighed 4lbs 14Oz. each. They are in perfect health and beautiful. They are precious !! They had to stay in NICU for about 3.5 hours, just for observation, they did not even need oxygen or anything. As long as there temp stays up they will go home on Sunday afternoon. I left the hospital about 7:00 and they had just ate for mommy and daddy and ate very well. The nurse took temps about 2 hrs after they came into the room and it was great. They are a blessing from God and He definitely took very good care of these little angels & their mother. Jennifer did wonderful she had a c-section and is doing great, just tired. She is so excited and is thankful for every ones thoughts and prayers. Ronald is just too cute with them, I don't thank that he was expecting to be so in love with them so fast. Jen said as soon as they put Addie in his arms the nurse said " she already has daddy wrapped up" he is going to be a great dad. These girls are lucky to have them both, I am so proud of them.

Getting ready for babies!

Well I haven't been a very good blogger, but I stay busy. We had a great Christmas and New Year. I am getting ready to meet all these babies that are going to bless our world in 2009. Jen has been put on bed rest until Addison & Alexis get here, but she is doing good. I went by to see her today and she is getting plenty of help, her soon to be mother-in-law & friend Amanda and I started washing things up for these girls that are wanting to be here sooner than later. Jennifer is not able to do any of these little things so we are trying to help her out and get it ready for her. She has to go back to the hospital Friday for another stress test. She went to the doctor Monday and she had dilated to 3cm and was 85% thinned. So we may have babies very soon. I know that these babies are going to be perfect, healthy beautiful little angels and I can't wait to meet them and welcome them to the world. I know this time is going to be bitter sweet for Jen, she is really going to be thinking about her mom and missing her a lot. Her mother was her best friend and means so much to her and I know that she always thought her mom would be a big part of this part of her life. I pray the Lord gives her the strength that she needs. I know that he will, she is such a strong person and I never had realized how strong she was until she has gone through all she has gone through in the past 2 1/2 years. She is very dear to me and I hope she realizes what she means to me.
My mother-in-law and I went last night to see the Sloan Family at a church in Cullman and had a great time, I always enjoy them they are truly anointed by God and they are wonderful to watch. They mainly sing and Tina one of the family write most of there songs, they preach while they sing all mixed together in a fabulous way that can't be described it has to be seen. The Lord has given her most of her songs in a unique way and she tells her story of the song and than sings the song, they obey God and have a great time doing it. They always bless my heart and strengthen my faith. I am so glad that the Lord has given me the opportunity to experience this feeling that is like no other. They sing this song called No Dope and it talks about Jesus being our natural high and if you have never felt that high that you can get from him you are truly missing out. I am so grateful to have Jesus to guide my life and I hope that I can walk the path that he has for me. Check out the song on myspace I will put it on my page.
